After suffering a devastating defeat in Idolmaster Portable: Missing Moon (timed choices!), I went back to my comfort food and reached the Taiga 100-point end. It is also a double-pass: you have to reach the Taiga 75-point end (by selecting the rotten banana, etc.) and then restart.
There was just one curveball, where I resorted to cheat sheets: On second pass I hit a mood dialog with Minori where a) all answers are sync-down or "bad", and b) a very specific route has to be followed: 1. 俺 #3, 2. 大河 #3, and 3. æ«›æž #3. I have no idea how Japanese find it out. In retrospect, one clue is that steps 2 and 3 are non-selectable initially and probably become selectable after you hit the previous step. So it's not an outright impossible roadblock. And I suspect it's not really necessary anyway, although who knows.
Later a most weird-ass relationship scenario was presented, where Ryuuji confirms his feelings to Taiga, and then (with Taiga's approval!) goes to Minorin and delivers the formal confession ("I love you, please go out with me"). At that point Minorin shoots him down ("I'm very happy, but I can't reciprocate") and that allows him to go back to Taiga. All steps in this dance were scripted so actors knew their roles, but how? The extensive give-and-take and negotiations that preceded it were completely opaque to me.
And on top of it, Taiga end was lulzy. I'm not just talking about her getting pregnant. There was way more. Kick-ass, I liked it. It aimed for an entirely different effect than the Ami's drama.
