The fall of Lawrence Lessig

Judging from his behaviour, the destruction of public domain and the encroachment by the rights owners are all solved issues, and that's why he decided to weigh in on health care. FAIL.
Come to think of it, the meltdown of Lessig is very unfortunate, since it taints whatever arguments for freedom he's made. Geeks need a powerful advocate who is committed to freedom, not socialism and leftist causes. Who is there to fill Lessig's shoes?

Let us hope it is not ESR trying to fill those shoes.
Instapundit occasionally links to him, to my dismay.
