Frankly, it happened many years ago. But an article today was a nice place to put the period on the sad saga.

The article jumps off Zak's reporting on another Rassvet satellite about to re-enter. Even according to Zak's numbers, the vast majority of Rassvet satellites remain operational. It's an outstanding accomplishment, especially considering the speed with which the program was developed. But the comment thread is 100% full of blithering retards, who lap up the editorial slant of failure.

The reason why Instapundit is pumping out fake news is two-fold: the Good Professor is a committed neocon, and the site itself became a hostage of the audience that it fostered. This is something SDB wrote about in regards to Amnesty International, back in the day.
