The other day I saw a rare visitor behind Atlantic's hangar:
I didn't get a chance to hear it, so I don't know if it's as whiny as they say.

Interesting. That looks like the plane I saw at the Grand Junction airport when we were taking off the other day. I looked at it and thought that it couldn't be a Starship, but wasn't sure what it could be...

Almost the same layout as Starship, only shuttle-shaped and has a little fixed canard.

Yes, the Avanti has a unique buzzing/whining sound. One used to fly regularly on approach overhead our house.
